School Site Council / D/ELAC

A School Site Council (SSC) is a group of teachers, parents, students, and administrators who work together to plan, monitor, and evaluate a school’s improvement programs and budget. Its main purpose is to ensure that resources and strategies align with the school’s goals for student achievement and overall success. The council reviews data, helps develop the School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA), and makes recommendations that reflect the needs and priorities of the school community. All members of SSC are voted in and serve two consecutive year terms.
